Comparison - Essie vs. OPI

I have been sitting on this post waiting to use it as an emergency fill-in when something else fell through but I haven't needed it. So I though I should use it while it was still relevant.

I have been noticing how many off-whites, or rather, light taupes, have been coming out with each collection. I bought China Glaze's Kalahari Kiss from their On Safari Collection because I thought it would be close to these others. But as you can see it is yellower. OPI's Don't Pretzel My Buttons from their Germany Collection also doesn't belong because it is too pink.

But the other two I have here OPI's Did You Ear About Van Gogh from the Holland Collection and Essie's Yogaga from the collection of the same name are very close! The OPI came out first in early summer 2012 and the the Essie late in the summer of 2012.
