If you know me, you'll know that I love tape manis!! So today I have a fun tape mani that is Spring themed! I picked 5 different colors and did a skittles mani to start. From thumb to pinky, I used OPI Mod About You, Zoya Marley, OPI What's With The Cattitude?, OPI Gargantuan Green Grape, and Cult Nails Feel Me Up. Each color was two coats, except Gargantuan Green Grape needed three. I then topped with Seche Vite to help with drying time and to make sure the tape didn't mess up any nails! I buy my OPI from Ulta Beauty stores, Zoya from www.Zoya.com, and Cult Nails from www.shop.cultnails.com.
When starting a tape mani, I usually take the pieces of tape and apply them to my palm to remove a bit of the stickiness. Then, I position the tape for one nail at an angle and apply my additional color. I quickly remove the tape, being careful to not smudge anything!! And continue for each nail. For this mani, I used Cirque XX, which can be bought at www.cirquecolors.com. XX contains beautiful pastel glitter in multiple colors that sparkles holographically! There is also a fine shimmer through the base. I love how the glitter compliments the base colors!
This is my first time using Cirque polishes and I am extremely impressed! The glitter applied perfectly and dried quickly. I applied Wicked Fast top coat by Cult Nails (my favorite top coat) to finish the mani! What do you think!? I had a couple friends say it reminded them of the mini Cadbury chocolate eggs for Easter! Those are my favorite candies too! hehe
I hope you enjoyed this tape mani!! Thank you so much to Lisa for having me here today. I'm so glad to be able to share this with you!!
Have a fantastic day!!
Much Love,
Crystal
